These photos are from various trips into the area seen from the cabin, largely from the eastern slopes and peaks of the Pioneer Range. It only makes sense that Pioneer Cabin is visible from any point in the vast panoramic view from the front steps. Because of the great distances involved, the photo quality isn't the greatest, but I find myself often when hiking around these glaciated peaks and basins searching out that dark, brown pinpoint patiently awaiting my return.
